This lovely 9-hole golf course is located in the southern Black Forest, at an altitude of about 600 meters. Beautifully embedded in the natural environment and without much modelling, this interesting and varied course was built.
From tee 1 to tee 5 (highest point) there is an altitude difference of about 80 meters to overcome, which demands a lot of stamina from the golfer. Characterized by the hilly landscape, no hole is like the other. Thus a varied game with fantastic views is guaranteed.
Although the course is quite short with a par 62 and a good 1700 meters, it requires a very precise and tactically well-considered game, as the holes are sometimes quite narrow and the greens are not too large.
Those who like to play a sporty but natural course should definitely come to Schönau. After the round you can relax in the cosy bistro.
